War protesters gathered in Washington D.C. at the White House in response to the question of military intervention in Syria, in light of chemical agents being used by Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad. Anti-war protesters attempted to urge President Obama to re-think his stance on a potential war with Syria, while a separate group of protesters wanted to bring light wide-scale violence upon Syrian citizens imposed by Assad’s regime in the past.
